Yukta Ramanan (she/her) is an incoming senior at Chantilly High School in Northern Virginia.  She is intensely passionate about environmental sustainability, global health, equity, and youth involvement in current affairs. Although she started YES as a personal passion project in 2019, hoping to bridge the gap between the seemingly irreconcilable ideas of business growth and sustainable sourcing practices, she soon opened up membership in order to integrate youth voice into the movement. Outside of YES, Yukta is a Director at The Greater Good Initiative, hosts a current affairs podcast, and leads her county's student policy initiatives as an equity ambassador. In her free time, you can find her dancing Bharatanatyam, writing music, or drinking copious amounts of bubble tea!
